This page contains several links to some organizations who use HDF as their data format. The images were generated with HDF Explorer using the data from these organizations.
Goddard DAAC's Interactive Coastal Zone Color Scanner (CZCS)

The Coastal Zone Color Scanner (CZCS) was a multi-spectral line
scanner devoted principally to measurements of ocean color. The CZCS was developed by NASA and was launched on the Nimbus-7 satellite in October 1978.During its 7 1/2 year lifetime (October 1978 - June 1986), CZCS acquired nearly 68,000 images, each covering up to 2 million square kilometers of ocean surface.

Goddard DAAC's Pathfinder Advanced Very High Resolution Radiometer (AVHRR)

The AVHRR land data set contains a vegetation index, channel 1,2
relectances used to compute this index and brightness temperatures for channels 3,4,5. In addition, associated geometrical and date parameters plus a quality flag and cloud estimate are also provided.

Goddard DAAC's Atmospheric Chemistry Data

The Total Ozone Mapping Spectrometer (TOMS) version 7 Daily
Gridded Data consist of daily, global coverage of total ozone integrated over the depth of the atmosphere and bulk reflectivity resulting from the combined effects of the surface, clouds and tropospheric aerosols.
